Up late? Romans, Saints, and Christmastime…
I’m sitting here, talking to a few of you an facebook, updating the site, and watching Dirty Jobs and I was thinking… I haven’t posted in a while. So lately I’ve been reading Romans. I’m not sure why but it’s been a while since I read through Romans. I highly recommend it. I am really putting an effort into getting in the mind of Paul and I just find it so cool that we are just like the Romans and are” loved by God and called to be saints”(Romans 1:7a)… Yeah I said it, You (that’s right You) are called to be a saint! What a set up, first there is the confidence builder… you are “loved by God”, then comes the calling to not jsut be a good person, not to be all you can be, but to be a saint. Saint is defined as a person of exceptional holiness or goodness. Fail… yup, if you try on your own you will never be a saint, it’s true… sorry. Only with Jesus covering your sins can you even attempt to try to live a life of goodness or holiness. So it brings us back to being loved by God. “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”(John 1: 12)… and whose more loved then children.
So be encouraged and challenge, just like Paul would do. God loves you, and … and you were called to be a saint!
Did I mention that we are decorationg for Christmas tomorrow?

WKBC Youth Group is Cancelled (10-29): Health Concerns
Hello Everybody,
Mrs. Q and I both found out the we have Pneumonia ( along with Scott), and also considering that about 11 different teens have been sick this week we are going to be canceling Youth Group for this week only. Everything will be back to normal next week. Please Keep us in prayer , as well as the other that are under the weather.
Thanks so much and we will miss everyone this week.

What is Snow Camp?
Snow Camp is a week of camp shoved into one weekend in the winter. With games, tubing, ice walks, dodge ball, Gaga, Carpet Ball, rallies, and an awesome speaker bringing truth to teens from God’s Word. It’s an awesome weekend that should not be missed.
